I can’t believe it’s already the first week of June!
Before you know it, it’s going to be the 4th of July. I’m trying to plan early this year so I’m already working on our 4th of July appetizer and dinner menu.
Our 4th of July Dinner Menu
For dinner, I’m throwing around the idea of making (red) beet burgers, (white) potato salad or cashew broccoli salad, and (blue) blueberry cobbler for dessert. Red, white and blue: everything has to match the holiday theme!
My mom always makes a big deal about the 4th of July, she goes all out! I won’t be going as hardcore as she does but we will probably hang out by the pool, make some drinks (I’m working on a killer watermelon Moscow Mule recipe to share soon!) and watch the fireworks on TV.
Since we’re most likely going to be hanging outside by the pool, I wanted to have an easy finger food 4th of July appetizer that we could munch on. Travis loves vegan feta cheese and I’ve been craving watermelon like crazy, so this app is perfect for both of us. I just picked up a gorgeous watermelon from Costco too, so I’m, going to have lots of watermelon inspired recipes coming your way soon!
