Learn how to assemble these easy BBQ chicken skewers with blue cheese crumbles! Perfect for parties or for a lazy day watching the game!
I love entertaining, but to be honest, it can be really stressful!
I like to plan out every last detail and I want everything done the way I imagined it would be. This can be difficult because in order for things to be done exactly how I imagined them to be, I have to do it all myself.
Don’t you worry, I’ve found the solution!
Semi-homemade appetizers and finger foods are easy, delicious and don’t take much time to prepare, so you have more time to be with your guests, and eat! It’s all about the food anyways, isn’t it?!
I picked up these Farm Rich BBQ Chicken Bites at Walmart. They had a bunch of different products to choose from, but I had the perfect idea for the bites.
I was so happy to find that Walmart now carries organic fruits and vegetables! Eating organic produce is very important to me and my family. Healthy, organic produce that’s affordable and convenient? I’ll take it!
BBQ Chicken Skewers
This BBQ Chicken Skewer recipe was inspired by my fiancé, Travis. He would eat blue cheese all day, every day, if I let him. He loves the stuff! I made this appetizer the last time we had some friends over, it was a hit! It would also be a great snack for a lazy afternoon, watching a football game on TV.
The sweet bbq chicken, super tangy blue cheese crumbles and the cool crunch from the celery is a great combo. It’s really simple to put together, so I wasn’t running around like a crazy person before our friends came over. Just bake the chicken according to the package directions, toss it in the BBQ sauce, and assemble it piece by piece on the skewer. You can arrange it in any order you like, no rules here! Although, you
Just bake the chicken according to the package directions, toss it in the BBQ sauce, and assemble it piece by piece on the skewer. You can arrange it in any order you like, no rules here! Although, you absolutely must sprinkle parsley on top. It’s the final touch that makes it look extra special!
Don’t forget the dip! Ranch or blue cheese would work, but I used blue cheese since I was already on the blue cheese bus. I served blue cheese dressing for dipping with celery bites, and blue cheese crumbles on the side.
